Lever lock
The Code of practice: Hardware for fire and escape doors, Issue 5, published by DHF and GAI in November 2024, defines a lever lock as a 'lock usually operated by longer lever key where the cuts on the key bit align with sprung levers within the lockcase to allow the door to unlock.' see also Fire Door Fitting Checklist for Lever Lock Doors and Types of lock.
